About the journal "Bulletin" of the Karakalpak Branch of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan

The journal was approved in 1960 as a scientific publication of the Karakalpak branch of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan and is intended to cover a wide range of issues on which scientific research is being conducted in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, as well as in other regions connected with it by common research.

After Uzbekistan gained independence and transitioned to new economic conditions, the journal began to be published 4 times a year in an increased volume (1 time per quarter). Major articles, monographs, and other works are published by decision of the editorial board as appendices to the journal.

Due to the high cost of publishing, the needs of scientific libraries, their exchange fund, author activity, the editorial and editorial staff, as well as the need for sales in the department on a contractual basis, the minimum number of copies of the journal is set at 100 copies.

The journal and its appendices are prepared by the editorial office and printed on the computer typography of the publication itself. The brochure is made on the computer typography of the publication itself.

Considering that in the conditions of the 21st century, most areas of scientific research (especially natural) are conducted in Russian, using Latin names, mathematical, physical-chemical and other standards generally recognized in the world of science, the Russian language remains necessary/necessary/has not lost its importance/remains important as a language of interethnic/international scientific communication, and a dynamic link with world science. At the same time, the journal publishes articles in national languages ​​- Karakalpak and Uzbek. Some articles are also published in English. The summary is given in three languages: Uzbek, Russian and English. The journal also publishes illustrations, photographs, diagrams, tables related to the texts.

Since its formation (1960), the jounal has belonged to the second category. After its growth, it moved to the first category as a multidisciplinary and multilingual publication.

The editorial board is headed by the Editor-in-Chief and his deputy. The editorial board includes representatives of the Karakalpak branch of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as other scientists of Karakalpakstan.

The editorial board determines the development prospects of the journal and approves the layouts. Members of the editorial Board actively participate in the preparation of materials for publication in their fields of science.
